Same recorder. Two ways in.

Every page below describes the same capture app — capture runs on Windows. Find yours by who you are, or by what you have to document — each page answers its own audience's first question, limits included, instead of running the tour again.

By use case

Why the split

The split is by first question, not by feature.

Nothing in the product changes between the pages. What changes is the objection that has to clear before anyone installs anything.

An IT reviewer wants to know whether a recorder can see software that is not a browser tab, and exactly where that stops. A service desk wants to know what recording costs per ticket, and what happens to a credential that is on screen while it runs. Whoever ended up owning onboarding wants to know who is supposed to find the time. And an ops lead wants to know which version of the process the guide will canonise — whose take becomes the standard.

Different questions, one answer each — and each page names its own limits rather than the others’. If you only read one, read the one whose question is yours; the rest of the product is the same on all of them.

  • Windows 64-bit desktop capture is available first. The macOS capture app is in development and not available yet.
  • Silent by design: no audio, no microphone, no webcam anywhere in the app.
  • One share link at the end. Whoever opens it needs no account.
